GEORGE BISTRANSIN (Translator/Director) has been translating and presenting the comedies of Plautus since 1985.  Mr. Bistransin most recently taught Latin Kew Forest School in Queens, New York.  He received his Masters Degree in Classical Studies from Boston University.  In 1996 he was selected as a participant in the NEH sponsored "The Art of Ancient Spectacle" at the American Academy in Rome.  He is a member of NYC Playwrights.

JEFF BESSELMAN (Philopolemus) is a recent graduate of North Carolina State University.  His credits include How to Speak "Woman,"  Not About Nightingales, and Biloxi Blues.   He has appeared in Grey's Suburbia,  Her Eternal Romeo, The Book of Daniel and Law and Order. He can currently be seen in Test Theater's productions of The Last of Mrs. Lincoln  and The Andersonville Trials.




GINO CACCAVALE (Guard/Cook) has appeared Off Broadway in A Dog's Life and A Bride's Tale.  His film credits include Hunger, A Look Back and Ahead, Behind the Walls and the Walt Disney film Emerald Cove.  He has roles on the soap operas The Guiding Light and  All My Children.  He wishes to thank the director, cast, Jill Kery and his teacher Edward Morehouse.



MICKEY CORPORON (Aristophontes) is a recent  graduate the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and Crowder College.  He has appeared Off-Broadway in Old Man Gone Wrong and in The Whoopi! as well as numerous plays and small films around New York City. 

TOMMY DICKIE (Ergasilus) graduated in June with a theater degree from Dartmouth College, where his favorite roles were Adam in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) and Bob the Pizza Boy in bobrauschenbergamerica.  He is excited about his New York debut in Theater Ludicrum's The Prisoners, and like his character Ergasilus, also loves food.

SHANNON JONES (Tyndarus) has played Tony Dennison in Out of The Frying Pan at the Impact Theater, Joe Pitt in Angels in America, and Paul in At Home ( Split, Part 1),  both at the Kraine Theater.  He also regularly performs Improv at the Magnet Theater.  Shannon is a graduate of Northwestern University.


AARON KAPNER (Philocrates) graduated Circle in the Square Theater School in New York City, June of 2005, where he performed in Macbeth, Lonestar  and a musical review of Amanda McBroom's music.  He performed in the original plays Laughingstock and Seduction, both at Theater Studios, Inc. and a staged reading of Henry VI  with the Instant Shakespeare Company at the Jean Cocteau Repertory Theater.  He has also appeared in Rosebud Productions After the Fall at the Producer's Club.  Love to my family.


BRETT MAUGHAN (Prologue/Stalagmus) recently relocated to NYC from Colorado, where he was a director, actor, and designer.  His NY credits include a staged reading of Armenian Voices and various characters (human and puppet) in New Perspective Theatre's Steal Away: The Living History of Harriet Tubman. He will perform Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream in May at the Manhattan Rep Theatre, and  will direct a staged reading of a new play with Nicu's Spoon in April. With The Upstart Crow in Boulder, Colorado. Brett played Val in Tenessee William's Orpheus Descending and Banquo in Macbeth, and directed Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.


MICHAEL SELKIRK (Hegio) has appeared Off-Off-Broadway and in Los Angeles in such roles as Argan (THE IMAGINARY INVALID) for Collaborations, Roger (WHERE WE HANG OUR LIGHTS) at the American Globe, Frank (WELCOME) at Six Figures, The Bartender (THE HANDBASKET) at Manhattan Theatre Source, Leeds (THE WAGER) at the Pearl Theatre and Bo in MILL FIRE (West Coast Ensemble).  His film work includes a leading role in Nancy Savoca's award-winning feature debut, TRUE LOVE. He's a member of SAG and AFTRA.
